I have not had a journal entry in 9 months ...

Tue Jun 16, 2009, 7:48 AM
Is it time to do so? Perhaps!

So, my few but valued watchers, what has been going on? I've graduate from high school after a few grueling months full of drama and am off to Arizona State University in the fall. (it's all of 10 minutes, if that, from my high school. I'm really getting away.)
This summer I'm volunteering at an Animal Sheleter(so there may be some photos with that), Teen court and practicing badminton. I looked for a job but really no one's hiring.

In reference to photography? it's not looking good... I'm just not satisfied with the quality of the images I've been getting - which explains the lack of posting. Maybe I need a better camera but more likely I just need more practice and knowledge. We'll work on that. I recently went to two different national forests/preserves for my sister's thesis research so we'll see if there're any good ones.

alright. that concludes this exciting entry... there's a reason I don't update this thing.

sorry for posting twice but thanks so much for the criticism and advice. I appreciate it a lot when people try to help you instead of just saying cool or whatever.

It takes a lot of patience, I can tell you that.
I have a membership to our zoo here, and I'll go a few times a month and use a couple rolls of film - maybe 10 shots on one animal easily.
Repetition and patience + practice will certainly help!
